Project Scope
Clear Website Delivery Standards
Every project has a defined scope so you know what is included before work begins. Requirements outside the standard package can be quoted separately.
8–10 Standard Pages
Includes up to 10 agreed standard pages, such as Home, About, Services, Contact, and relevant service pages. Additional pages, extensive content entry, and complex page layouts require a separate quote.
500 MB Allowance
Includes a 500 MB media storage allowance for uploaded website images and files. This is a site-level allowance, not the total storage capacity of the hosting server. Larger storage requirements can be discussed separately.
Eligible .com Domain
The package includes the use of one eligible .com domain under the agreed service arrangement. Registration and renewal costs are accounted for in the package pricing, subject to the agreed subscription and domain terms. Premium domains are excluded.
Managed Hosting Option
Hosting is provided according to the selected package and service agreement. Server resources are shared across managed websites, and unusually high resource usage may require a plan review.
Defined Maintenance
Where annual care is included, it covers agreed routine software updates, backup arrangements, and basic technical checks. Backup frequency, retention, recovery assistance, and update scope are confirmed in the service agreement.
Reasonable Update Scope
Minor agreed updates to existing text, images, or contact details may be included according to the selected maintenance plan. New pages, redesigns, major content work, and new functionality are quoted separately.
A Thoughtful Process
Good Websites Start With Good Planning
Before design begins, it helps to understand what your business offers, who your customers are, and what visitors should do when they reach your website.
We use this information to organise the pages, prioritise key messages, and create a website structure that supports your business objectives.

Choose Your Approach
Custom Design or a Standardised Website?
The right approach depends on your business needs, preferred design flexibility, and project requirements.
| Consideration | Custom Website Design | Standardised Website |
|---|---|---|
| Design direction | Planned around your business, brand, and visual preferences. | Starts from an established layout and design structure. |
| Page structure | 8–10 standard pages included, with additional scope agreed separately. | Uses a defined page structure based on the selected template package. |
| Storage allowance | 500 MB media storage allowance under the standard package. | 300 MB media storage allowance under the standard self-service package. |
| Best suited for | Businesses seeking a more individualised online presence. | Businesses that prefer a more streamlined starting point. |
| Project scope | Agreed according to the pages, design, and features required. | Based on the available standardised solution and options. |
The standardised website comparison is indicative. Final inclusions, storage limits, hosting, domain terms, and maintenance arrangements depend on the selected package and written agreement.

Beyond the Website Build
Hosting and Annual Website Care
A website needs appropriate hosting and routine care after launch. SiteNestly can provide managed hosting and an agreed maintenance arrangement so your website remains supported over time.
- Hosting according to the selected service package
- Routine WordPress, theme, and plugin updates where compatible
- Backup arrangements as specified in the service agreement
- Basic technical checks and assistance with eligible issues
- Minor content updates within the agreed maintenance scope
Annual care does not mean unlimited design changes or development. Major redesigns, new pages, paid third-party services, advanced integrations, and extensive content production are not included unless specified in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Custom Website Design FAQs
Answers to common questions about project scope, hosting, domains, and ongoing website care.
How many pages are included?
The standard custom website package includes 8–10 standard pages, agreed before work begins. Additional pages, complex layouts, and special functionality may require a separate quote.
How much media storage is included?
The standard package includes a 500 MB media storage allowance for uploaded website images and files. This is a site-level allowance rather than the total storage available on the hosting server. Additional storage can be discussed separately.
Is a domain name included?
The package includes the agreed use of one eligible .com domain, with the applicable domain cost accounted for in the package price. Premium domains are excluded. Domain registration, renewal, registrant details, and arrangements after the service ends will be governed by the written agreement.
What does annual maintenance include?
Annual maintenance covers only the services specified in your plan, which may include routine software updates, agreed backup arrangements, basic technical checks, and limited content updates. Backup retention, recovery assistance, update frequency, and response arrangements will be confirmed in writing.
Can I request changes after launch?
Minor changes may be available under the selected maintenance arrangement. Additional pages, a redesign, new functionality, extensive content changes, and third-party integrations may require a separate quote.
Can you build an online store?
This standard custom business website package is designed for business presentation and enquiries, not a complete ecommerce system. Online stores and their product, payment, order, and shipping features require separate scoping and pricing.
How much does a custom business website cost?
Pricing depends on the agreed page count, design requirements, content preparation, domain arrangements, and additional functionality. SiteNestly provides a quote after understanding your project requirements.
Will my website be ready for search engines?
We can organise page headings, content structure, descriptive image alt text, and relevant page metadata as part of the agreed scope. Search visibility depends on many factors, so no specific ranking or traffic result can be guaranteed.
What happens if I stop renewing the service?
Hosting, domain management, backups, website access, data export, and any transfer arrangements will follow the written service agreement. These details should be confirmed before the project starts so both parties understand their rights and responsibilities.
